Services
For successful integration, O.R. PEER® requires a one-week on-site visit by an O.R. PEER consultant.
Installation
Since every network is a little different, an O.R. PEER consultant will work hands-on with your I.S. department to optimize the O.R. PEER installation for maximum performance.
Training and Production
The O.R. PEER consultant will spend the week photographing your chosen surgical procedures and working with your physicians and staff to custom produce the O.R. PEER library. After working with the O.R. PEER consultant first-hand to build each PEER e-book, your staff will be comfortable producing their own PEERs. This hands-on training and production is essential for populating O.R. PEER with information specific to your facility and physicians.
Orientation
In between photographing, content development, and production meetings the PEER consultant will be available for staff orientation in lounges or meeting rooms to demonstrate how to navigate the O.R. PEER library. Generally, the PEER consultant will work with a check list of staff members provided by the nurse educator to ensure that everyone has been properly oriented on O.R. PEER.
Existing File Integration
The more content O.R. PEER contains, the more useful it becomes. Many facilities have pre-existing documents they would like to integrate into O.R. PEER, but don’t have the staff available for conversion. From hand-written note cards to PowerPoint or Word files, we can integrate your existing content into O.R. PEER. Depending on the quantity of information, integration may take a few days or a few weeks. Conversion services can be provided on-site, or remotely if files are HIPPA compliant.
Maintenance & Support
Service doesn’t stop after the first week! With your maintenance and support contract you will be entitled to technical support, free upgrades, and help with survey and quiz production. Maintenance contracts are part of the standard O.R. PEER licensing package.
